It has been quite the Summer this year, for many different reasons. For one, the UK enjoyed / endured its hottest August day in almost 20 years at the start of the month, whilst a great deal of people have been revelling in the return of major sporting events including Premier League football and cricket. Perhaps a little closer to the hearts of the team at CRIBB Cyber Security, CNN announced recently that an asteroid has been detected by the scientists at NASA which is due to pass close to the Earth on November 2nd… Maybe the US presidential elections won’t go ahead after all?!
The Coronavirus pandemic may have changed the world as we know it this year, but we as people have thankfully embraced a sense of togetherness, showing a real determination to keep going. It is precisely this spirit that we on theICEway are tapping into to deliver the latest ICEbreaker for you, featuring an update on an exclusive collaboration along with our blog highlights from recent months plus those from ICE and eTestware.
theICEway & Seatrade Cruise Virtual
This exclusive piece is based upon Seatrade Cruise Virtual and the important role to be played there by one of our Co-Founders this October. This is set to be a key event in this year’s Maritime and cruise industry calendar, and you can be sure that all those representing theICEway will be providing important updates on our collective IT work in Healthcare and Cruise.

ICE Technology Services – Innovation Hub Q2 Round-Up
The team at our sister brand, ICE, always ensure that website analytics is given the focus required to help deliver a positive online experience. In this blog piece, they reflect upon another batch of the most popular articles published from April to June, including one on the IT Consultancy services they provide to clients from cruise, healthcare and travel.
CRIBB – The Supplier Chain & External Threats
Earlier this Summer, our very own cyber security expert Patrick Carolan sat down to discuss supply chain attacks. Due to the increase in suppliers and service providers who can access sensitive data, an increase in threats to the supply chain has emerged, and he gave us his own unique view on the situation (it is actually the most popular CRIBB article of the Summer so far).
The eTestware Website is being improved – oh, and here’s Bacon!
Another fellow brand on theICEway is eTestware, and their team of outsourced software testing experts are working diligently to revamp their website. In the process, they too have been going back through historical articles and posts, and not one of them could bring themselves to close the page containing a blog piece about Bacon the dog…
